today, i went to Gyeongbok Palace.
Gyeongbok Palace has many big, beautiful, and magnificence buildings. today, i will tell you about Gwanhgwamun and the Outer palace and Inner palace.
Gwanghwamun had lots of hardships to stand this beautiful and magnificence. in Imfin War, the original gate was destroyed, but Heungseon Daewongun made 원납전 and 당백전, and rebuilt Gwanhgwamun.
the second, at the Korean War, and rebuilt by president park. but, it stands right there beautifuly and magnificence.
and the outer palace is the place for the ceremonies, official works and events. the main building of the outer palace in Gyeongbok palace is Geun jeong jeon. It shows the power of the king.
the Inner palace is the place for king and queen's daily life and official workings. in Gyeongbok palace, the king's place is Gang neong jeon, and the queen's place is Gyo tae jeon.
I like the roof(painting and the tiles) of the buildings.
We have to protect the not only Gyeongbok palace, our important cultural assets.
