Changgyeong palace was changed to Changgyeongwon when Japan invaded. Now I will tell you about the Àâ»ó and protecting animals.

 There are imaginary animals called ¼®¼öà´â® or else ¼­¼ößúâ® which are animal carvings. They are in all the other palaces as well. One of them is a pheonix. A pheonix is a bird of great wisdom and life. It is used to ward off bad and bring wisdom.

 Another is a Àâ»ó. Àâ»ó is used for protecttive and decorative meanig. Most Àâ»ó have  ¼±ÀÎà¹ìÑ in the front. There are 10 kinds they all look a bit different. Their name is called ¼±ÀÎÁÖ¼öà¹ìÑñËâ® ±âºÀ¼±ÀÎÑÈÜóà¹ìÑ is the front and next are a dragon, pheonix, lion, sky horse, sea horse, fire dimmer, scaly animal, another lion, and the hachi.
