I went to the Chang-gyeong Palace. Chang-gyeong Palace is a palace that is built because of Chang-deok Palace and Gyeong-bok Palace was burnt during the Japanese Invasion of Korea.

There were many buildings such as Myeongjeong Jeon, Munjeong Jeon, Sungmun Dang and many other things. But the most interesting to me was Okcheongyo. It is a stone bridge that is between the main gate and main places. It separated the area of king from the normal land. Also, the monster carvings that is on the bridge protects the evil spirits, which come from the water. I learned that our ancestors made bridges very wisely.

 I liked Dancheong, too. It is Korean styled decoration used on buildings. It is very colorful and beautiful. The five colors that consists Dancheong is red, black, green, white, and yellow. It looked so beautiful that I wanted to get one of the pieces. The reason why they used these five colors is because these five colors are the five elements which make up the universe.

 I want to know more about the history of the Changgyeong Palace. I want to know what happened in here and why. Therefore, I will come here with my family again and learn more about the Chang-gyeong Palace.
