I went to Changyeong palace today, and I learned many things.
Changyeong palace was built by King Seongjong for his mother and grandmother.
Hong hwa mun is the main gate of Changyeong palace.
The outer palaces are 명정전, 문정전, and 숭문당. Those buildings were used for official works and events.
The inner palaces are 경춘전, 환경전, 양화당, and 통명전. Those buildings were used for daily life.
There are five colors in 단청, and each color has its own meaning.
Red means fire. Black means water. Green means tree or wood. White means metal and Yellow means earth.
