Today, I went to the Korea University Museum. I saw 'Dong-gwol-do' and household appliances from the Joseon. Dong-gwol-do is the map of the Changdeok Palace and Changgyeong Palace. They are both in the eastern side so it is called the 'map of the Eastern Palace.' Now, I will talk about household appliances. They have many symbolic, (Happiness, Harmony, Fertility, Prominence, Longevity, and wealth.) The patterns are used in rings, folding screen, plants bearing fruit, crab shaped ink stone, spoon cases, and water glass. I was happy to learn about this things. |
