Jogaesa

Hello my name is Bradley. Today I went to Jogaesa. At that time, there was a ranking system. It is called Golpum. The top rank is Seonggol if the family is royal, jingol, with only 1 royal blood is the second highest. One dupum was the lowest and 6dupum was the highest class. Shilla also unified the Korean peninsula with Dang. They unified Korea with Hwarang’s power. They are young elite men as well as an education for nobles. They also had Hwarangdo which had 5 commandments. 1 Be royal to the country 2 be good to parents 3 never retreat in a fight 4 don’t kill anything without reason 5 trust friends. Buddhism in Shilla came from Baekje. Buddhism was very difficult to learn because the scripts weren’t simple. Common people couldn’t understand. Therefore, Wonhyo made 화엄종, which was the easy Buddhist scripts. Furthermore, Bulguksa and Seokgulam show that Buddhism flourished Shilla. Also, Seokgatap and Dabotap Pagoda stand face to face. It was built by Kimdaesung during the glory days of the Shilla dynasty. Under renovation of Seokgatap, the Buddhist scripture was found. It was dated from the 8th century which is called 무구정광대다라니경. I felt that the Jogaesa was a holy place where Buddha rested. Therefore, I went to visit Jogaesa again.
