In Changgyeong Palace, there are many buildings. I was intrested in Gyeong chun jeon. It was a place for queens. Also, king Geongjo and king heonjong were born here.

I was intrested in Okcheongyo too. There are two monster carvings between the arches. The carvings protect the palace from the evil spirits.

There are other buildings such as Honghwamun that is the main gate of Changgyeong Palace, and Hwangyeongjeon that is a sleeping room for kings.

There are sad stories about the palace.  

Japan changed Changgyeong Palace to a zoo. But good heavens, it was restored in 1984.

The other one is that the father of Geongjo,named Sado, died in a rice chest.

I can't understand Yeongjo's behavior. How could he kill his son? I think Youngjo was  foollish that time.
