Hello? My Korean name is 임소정, and my English name is Angelina. I will tell you my Changgyeong Palace's Report.
Today I went to Changgyeong Palace. The Changgyeoong palace was so beautiful, and wonderful, too. This palace was built by king seongjong(성종)he built this palace to his mother and grandmother. But this palace had a sad history. Lady Jang, Kindg gyeongjong(경종)was killed. There are inner palaces and outer palaces. First, the outer palaces are 명정전, 문정전, and 숭문당. The outer palaces are used for official works and event. And second the inner palaces are 경춘전, 황정전, 양화당, and 통명전. The inner palaces are used for daily life of royal family. Also the 단청 consist of five color. Red means fire, Black means water, Green means tree or wood, White means metal, and Yellow means earth. I think mant foreign people like Changgyeong Palace, so much. Thank you for listening my report. |
