Hello everyone! My name is Torres. My favorite places are Daechanmun, Junghwajeon, and Hamneongjeon. My favorite thing in those places is Japsang. The real name of Deoksu Palace is Jyeongun Palace. The name was changed by the Japanese. Daehamnun is so important in the Gyeongun Palace because Daehamnun is the main gate of Gyeongun Palace. I think the Junghwajeon, the building in the middle, was the most important building because it was the place for official events. Japsang is a figure that is known to protect Gyeongun Palace from ghosts and fire. Hamneongjeon was used as the King’s sleeping chamber. King Gojoing died in Hamneongjeon. King Junfong stayed in Hamneongjeon sometimes. I want to come here again with my friends because this is a special palace to me. |
