Gyeongunn Palace

             Today I went to the Gyeongunn palace. Many people call the Gyeongunn palace the Deoksu palace. It is wrong because Japanese changed the name to the Deoksu Palace. The main gate of the Gyeongunn palace is the Daehan gate. Nowadays, people could see Korean style chief gatekeepers change to guard the Daehan gate. The main building is the Junghwajeon. The official ceremonies, royal weddings were held there. Also, Emperor Gojong declared the DaehanJaeguk and crowned himself emperor. There is one unique and also strange building in the palace. The Sukhodang, which is the only 2 story building in the palace has stories. Inmokdaebe was locked by Guanghaegun because he was afraid to lose his throne. When Inmokdaebe got power again, she sent Guangjaegun to Jaeju Island to punish him for his bad deeds. I want to go to the Gyeongunn palace again to see more things inside the Gyeongunn palace.
