At the first time Gyeongun palace was the house of older brother of King SeongJong. However, the King moved  to Changdeok Palace. But King GoJong rebuilt it and change the country name to DaeHanJeGuk.

 The main gate of Gyeonun Palace is Daehanmun. which has dancheong, and Japsang. Dancheoung has five colors and there meaning. red-fire, black-water, white-metal, green-nature, yellow-earth. Japsang are from Journey to the west. butthist munk SamJang, and Sonogong, Jeoupargye, and SaoJung.

 Next there is JunghwaJeoun. Which were used for official events. Which means King's private office. SeokoDang is the only two story building. Inmow's queen mother had locked in by GwangHaegun.

 JeoukJoDang is where prince had do the colonation.
