I saw many western style building in this palace. The most western styiled building was Seokeodang. Seokeodang is a stone western building. It has a living room for government officials, reception hall and bedrooms for king and queen. 

 The main gate of the palace is Daehan gate, also Gojong always enjoyed drinking coffee. Jeonggwangheon is where he drinks coffee. It shows both Korean and western architecture. There is the water clock in the palace. There is Japsang at the Daehan gate. It is the figure of Seoyugi. The first one is priest Samjang. Second is a monkey.Third is the pig.

 At 1897 Gojong changed the name of Joseon to Daehan. But it is only last for 1897 until 1910. Japanese occupied us. I think Japan is very bad. After I knew about Gyeongun Palace history started to be fun!
