Seoul has been the capital of Joseon for 700 years.

King Taejo founded the Joseon at 1392 and he made Hanyang(Seoul) to capital. Because Hanyang had a beautiful nature and centeral location. So he builted shrines like Jongmyo and Sajik.

And then he builted five palaces.
