Namsan Hanok Village

Today, I go to the Namsan Hanok Village. I heard the Hanok Village in the social study book. The real name of Hanok is traditional house.
First, I went to the main gate of village. I can feel our ancestor’s mind. I meet my friend and we follow the teacher. First, we go to the tile roof house. I think the tile roof house is the best house in Hanok. And its mean is the tile roof house is very expensive. So, just noble men(Yangban) live in the tile roof house. I see the no 단청 in the tile roof house. The main gate of tile roof house is very tall. Because the noble men show off his class is high, and the doors in the house are very low. It mean the noble men is modesty.
Second we are go to the thatched roof. The lower class people or poor people lives in the thatched roof house. But it has the merit. In the summer the straw make cool and in winder the straw make warm. And we are go to see the Jangdokdae. It is traditional jar. The all Korean have Jangdokdae. But the poor people has one or two, and the rich people has lots of Jangdokdae. And I see the Family Shrine in the tile roof house. They respect their ancestor.
Last, I learn more detail about traditional Korean heating system, 온돌. Its process is first cook a meal and the hot air across the room and the air heat room and come out to chimney.
Today I learn lots of things about our traditional house, Hanok. I learn only palace and temple has 단청,and the only king can live in the more than 99kan house. The namsan Hanok Village is small, but we can learn lots of things in here. |
