Did everyone spent a good day today? Well, I did. Our team looked at the noblemen's houses. The most of the houses were hanoks with tile roof. There was also hanok with thatched roof. In hanok with tiled roof, there were Sarangchae, Anchae, Byeolchae, and Haengnangchae. Sarangchae was a room where high class men stayed, which were Noblemen. Anchae was a room where women stayed. Byeolchae was a room where the daughters stayed until they got married. Haengnangchae was a small room where servants lived. this room was the closest to the front door because the servants have to greet the guests and also serve them, too. I earned lots of knowledge today. I wish that I could have another chance to visit the Namsan Hanok Village again.
