The Seoul Museum of History is the place where you can learn about the Joseon Dynasty. We can see many things that show us what people used to live such as clothes, shoes, food and so on. We can also see how they lived and what special things were for people in the Joseon Dynasty. So, I saw many things there but today I want to tell you about the umbilical cord jar. That was the most touching to me in the museum.

In the umbilical cord jar, people put the umbilical cord of the prince and princess. They put a stone along with the jar and buried it. On the stone, the date of birth of the baby was written. I think this jar is special because nowadays we don¡¯t use the jar. Also in the Joseon Dynasty not all the people could use the jar. The common people just buried or burned their baby¡¯s umbilical cord.

It was very fun in the Seoul Museum of History. I got much interesting information about our history like about the umbilical cord jar.
