Today I went to Namsan Hanok Village. I saw many Joseon traditional houses. There were tiled roof houses. Only noble people could live in tiled roof house. The tiled roof house is seperated, Sarangchae and Anchae. Men lived at Saranchae and women lived at Anchae. Also I saw thatched roof houses. The roof was made of straw, so it is cool in summer and it is warm in winter. Common people lived in the thatched roof houses.
I saw Jangdokdae too. Jangdok is used for storing food. It was made of special material, so water or dirt can't come through the hole. But air can through the hole, so fermentation is active. I learned lots of traditional lives of Korea.
