I learned about the Hanok village today, the Hanok.

There are two types of Hanok, tile roof house and thatched roof house. Noble people lived in tile roof house. Men and women separated their quarters, for Sarangchae and Anchae. Men lived in Sarangchae, and women lived in Anchae. Servants stayed in Haengnangchae. Middle and lower class people lived in thatched roof house. They used straw for the roof, because it was easy to find.

         I also learned about the Jangdokdae and chamber pot. In the Joseon Dynasty, there is palace and temple, those were the only houses that were used Dancheong as the decoration. People store food in Jangdokdae, and they used a chamber pot for urine.
