Hello Everyone, my name is 고은서. Today we learned about buildings in Sung-kyun-kwan. Today we learned about buildings in sung-kyun-kwan. But today I would like to introduce few people. Actually these peoples are 서경덕, 이황,이이 and 조식.
First, I would like to introduce 서경덕. 서경덕 is famous with 황진이. 서경덕 was born in 1489 in 송도. 송도 is another name for 개경. 서경덕 passed the civil exam, but he never became a government. Also he learned without a teacher. He learned everything by himself. Do you want to know how he learned? It is to think about one topic iwll be gets the answer. He studied without teacher but, he made many student. The famous people one of them is 이지함.
Second, I would like to introduce 이황 and 조식. They were born 12 years after 서경학 was born. They both was born in same year in 경상도. They were also both confunicians but they went a different way. 조식 was never became a government but he teached stduents. But 이황 became a government in 34 and he was a government until 60. And from 60 he studied chineese characters and teached students. H ea slo studied confunism and he left valuable works. And finally he died when he was 70.His death was special. He have water to flowers and cleaned his bed and died sitting. After 1 year 이황 and 조식 died too.
Lastly, 이이 was born 35 years after 이황 and 조식 was born. His mother is 신사임당. He was a government. What did he wanted to do when he was a government? He tried to politic for people in the country. He said to the king that to make a king we need a country and to make a country we need people. And the people need to look at the king as a sky. So when people skys lose food country have no people to trust. This was what 이이 said
