We went to Changgyeong palace. I think there is very beautiful palace. Today we saw Honghwamun, Okcheongyo, Myeongjeongjeon, Gyeongchunjeon, Hwangyeongjeon, Sungmundang, Haminjeong, Tongmyeongjeon, Dancheong and Japsang. Changgyeong has a sad history. Crown price Sado, the father of Jeongjo was put to death in a rice chest. An then Japan changed it to the zoo but it was restored.First, we saw Honghwamun. It is a main gate of Changgyeong palace. On the roof there are small figures called "Japsang", it is from the Chinese novel "Journey to the West". The first one is a monk and monkey and the last is a pig. They protect the palace from the fire. But I think they can't protect the palace because, they are very small and just the figures.

And then we saw Okcheongyo. It is a stone bridges between a main gate and main palaces. This gate separated the holy area of king from normal land. We saw Myeongjeongjeon, it is a place for official events. And Gyeongchunjeon is for the queens. King Jeongjo and King Heonjong were born here. Then we saw Hwangyeongjeon, kings used here for a sleeping room. Sungmundang is a place for academic discussion. The signboard was written by King Yeongjo. He was a great lover of learning. I want to be like him. I don't like to learn something because it is very borning. But I want to be smart like him. And we so Haminjeong, King Yeongjo met the successful students at the civil service exam here. Tongmyeongjeon is a living place tor the king and the queen. Then Dancheong is colorful decorations used on buildings. Each color has its own special meaning. These five colors are the five elements which make up the universe.

Today's tour was very interesting more than yesterday's tour. So I want to learn more about Changgyeong palace. And later I want to go there again and I want to explain about Changgyeong palace to foriegn. I had a nice time in there. If I born in the past I want to be a queen and I want to make a history again. Thank you
