Have you ever heard of the palace where Gojong was dead? It is Gyeongun palace which many people know as Deoksu. I had an tour at there and learnt many things. There are two things that i like. First, Japan did many bad things to the Gyeongun. They destroyed 60% of the palace and built fountain. Second, Gojong loved to drink coffee. Coffee had came to korea from Russia. I think the reason why he loved it is because of the thing which is in coffee. It is caffeine. When you take this, you usually become excited. This palace is diffrent with others. This connects past and present. Even though this has got many many stories, i love this palace. |
