Today I went to Seodaemun Prison History Hall. This was a gloomy place where many freedom fighters and patriots were put into prison. 33couragoes leaders declared Korea's independence inPagoda Park, in 1919. More than 2million people shouted "Dae-han-min- guk-man-sae.' Famous patriots like Yu Kwan Sun and Han Yong Un died in this prison, but Koreans did not lose hope for their freedom.

 In this prison, many tourtures were held. One of many of it is the water tourture. They would hang the person up- side- down and pour ice cold water (hot pepper paste) or fire hot water (hot pepper paste) onto the person's face.  Another one is the wall coffin, which is a small coffin where people had to stand about 3~4 hours. After this tourture, many coudn't stand, and few couldn't walk. 

 When I went to the prison, I could see many people's sorrowful faces, looking into me.

We should be thankful to those who fought for our freedom. Tha Seoaemun Prison will be one of the places I would never forget. For this place gave me the thought about the pain patrots have had to our freedom nowdays.
