A tragedful dramaplace, a historical place used for two empires, Gyeounun palace. This palace was the house of king Seoung Jong's older brother, wolsandaegun, but this palace was used as the main palace when all other palaces were burnt down in Imjin War. however, Seoung Jong moved to Chandeok palace, so this palace was empty until Gojong came. He renamed the Joseon Dynasty in to Daehan empire. Gojong lived there for 12 years and died here.

The second thing I want to tell you about is the gate, Daehanmun. it was not the main gate because the main gate of Gyeoungbok palace, Gwanhwa mun, the main gate of Changgyeung palace is Hon hwa mun. It all has hwa in it which shows that is the main gate. The real gate of Gyeoung un palace is in hwa mun which was burnt down by the Japanese
