  First, there was great victory against Sui China. Gogureyo achieved a great victory against Sui China by planning a brilliant strate3gy.

  Second, the Mongol invasions. Mongol invaded goryeo first in 1231 and attacked Goryeo six more times until 1254. But, Goryeo didn't give up. A brave army called Sam-byeol-cho kept fighting the the end.
