since the foundation of our first kindom Gojoseon, many country attack Gojoseon more than 960times. And now it's in creasing by little fighting with North Korea. Just like Cheonanham incident. Battle of Salsu river is one of 960 wars. And also it's one of the 3 biggest war in Korea. During the 5th century Goguryeo was powerful nation in Aisa. So, Sui China attack Goguryeo. But Goguryeo defeat it them. Emperor of Sui China was so angry. Emperor sent 300,000 men and attack Goguryeo again with great general Woo-Jong-moon. But Goguryeo hade a great general Euljimoondeok. He planned great strategy. He didn't attack Sui China on purpose. He want to make Sui China run out of food. And it works! So the Sui China decided to retreat. During the way their back, they have to cross to Sulsu river. River looked low. Because Euljimoondeok made dam with bear skin. Euljimoondeok opened the dam when the Sui army cross half way through the  river. Most drowned and only 2,700 soldiers survived amoung the 300,000 men. We should be proud about this war. I wish there no more war and North Korea and South Korea being a one country. Because normal people are poor who died out couse of war. But high people such as goverment will never know their pain. I thought all of north Korean are bad but it was wrong. They didn't want to attack South Korea but they have to. Because of goverments order. So we shouldn't hate North Korean. I learn really good things on War memorial of Korea.
