Today,I went to Unhyun Palace with Mariestory.

Unhyun Palace was the personal mansion of Heung -Seon-dae-won-gun,the father of Gojong .This is not an offical palace, but it is very important in the modern Korean History.

Noan-Dong is the Sarangchae,where the men lived. This is the house Heung-seon-dae-won-gun stayed and discussed political issues. he also met guests here.The word 'Noan' means living comfortably in an old age.The Norak-Dang is the Anche, where the women lived.Queen Min,the wife of Gojong, recieved lessons to be a great queen . The wedding of Gojong and Queen min was held here. This is the most main and mammoth building in the Unhyun palace.

The IroDang was built after the marridge of king Gojong and Queen Min.Because they married,the family of Heung-Seon-dae-won-gun didn't have a place to live, so Iro dang was built as another Anche.

Heung-seon-dae-won-gun's wife stayed here. I liked the Norak-Dang best because this is the building Queen Min and King Gojong
