Unhyeon Palace was the personal house of King Gojong's father, Heung-seon-dae-won-gun. King Gojong lived Unhyeon Palace until Gojong was 12 years old. King Gojong became the king when he was 12 years old. Just like my age. After Gojong became a king, people started to call this personal house Unhyeon Palace.

 Heungsun Daewongun want to clear all Andong Kim's clan. Because this clan pressed the royal family for about 60 years old. Heungsun Daewongun want to make Andong Kim's clan to don't care him. So, he pretended to be a fool. He always play with girls and gangsters. Andong Kim's clan think he is crazy, so he can't harm them. There are some reasons why Heungsun Daewongun play with gangsters. He want to protected from gangsters, and become safe from Andong Kim's clan.

 Queen Min and King Gojong married in Norak dang. Norak dang is anchae. There is a way to seperate sarangchae and anchae. Achae has a kitchen, but sarangchae didn't. Norak means live long with enjoy. There is a sarangchae in this palace called Noan dang. Noan means live long comfortabely. Lastly, there is a Sujiksa and Iro dang. Sujiksa is for slaves, and guards. But Iro dang is for Heungsun Daewongun's wife, called Budae wife.

 It was very fun to see Unhyeon Palace. That palace is very interesting and beautiful. I think it is quite too big for the personal house for Heungsun Daewongun.
