Today, I went to Unhyun Palace. Unhyun Palace is the place where King Gojong's father, Heung-seon-dae-won-gun, once lived. There are four buildings in and out of Unhyun Palace.

       Just outside of the palace is Sujiksa. This is where the servants and guards lived. I didn't like this place because it was too small. Inside the palace, there are three buildings. Noan-dang means "living comfortably in old age". Heung-sun-dae-won-gun discussed political issues with guests in here which is the Sarangche. I liked the Norak-dang best because many interesting things happened there. First, Queen Min learned how to be a queen there. Second, King Gojong and Queen Min were married in Norak-dang. Third, Heung-sun-dae-won-gun died there. Iro-dang is the place where Heung-sun-dae-won-gun's wife lived. They rebuilt another Anche because they were not allowed to use Norak-dang after King Gojong and Queen Min's marriage. I really enjoyed looking around Unhyun Palace.
