Unhyeon Palace

Yun eun sang

Unhyeon Palace is not a great palace but it is important because

Heung-seon-dae-won-gun lived in there.

Heung-seon-dae-won-gun is Gojong`s father and he ruled Joseon

about 10 year`s behalf of him.

Gojong was the 26th king of Joeson dynasty, in 1897 he changed

the name of the country to dae-han-je-guk and called himself

emperor.

noan-dang is men living area (sa-rang-chae)and there is a hanging board

using kim,jeong-hee`s letters.and he discussed political issues.

There is 2 women living area(anche) because Gojong and queen Min

Heung-seon-dae-won-gun`s family could not use Norak-dang

so Iro-dang was rebuilt.

The lofty gates was high to represent the pride of the noblemen.

it was high about 3feet!

There is a lower gate,it was low to represent modesty

because you must lower your neck to get through this gate.

when I saw the Japanese builted house and it made my anger up,

I think we have to protect our country.
