Do you know about the Chang-deok palace? I think many foreign people know about the Chang-deok palace. Chang-deok palace has many beautiful gardens. Chang-deok palace is one of the eastern palace. They started to built Chang-deok palace in 1405 for the king Tae-jong. There are 11palaces and there are 3 gardens. The palaces are Dong wha mun, In jeong jeon, Seon jeong jun, Hui jeong dang, Dae jo joen, Seong jeong gak, Seon won jeon, Nak seon jae, and Seok bok heon. And the gardens are Gwal lam ji, Jon deok jeong, and Ong nyu cheon. And there is a chinese scholar tree. The chinese scholar tree symbolized the three top official who worked under these trees in China. The three top officials are 영의정, 좌의정, and 우의정. People believed these trees protected. The palace against evil spirits. Last, there is a last royal families. Lee-gu who married an American girl was divorced her when they came to Korea, the reason why is Lee family did not want him to have a half-korean- baby. He didn't have a wife and baby or family.
