Today, I went to Gyeongbok Palace. Gyeongbok Palace has many buildings. I will tell you about some of them.

The main gate of Gyeongbok Palace is Gwanghwamun. Next comes Heungnymun. After Heungnymun comes GeungJeongJeon.  GeungJeongJeon is the main building of the palace. This is where important ceremonies were held. There also has the king's office. After  GeungJeongJeon comes SaJeongJeon. SaJeongJeon is the private office for the king. After SaJeongJeon is GangNeonJeon. GangNeonJeon is the king's quarters. There are no dragon ridges on the roof because the king actually stayed there. Next comes GyoTaeJeon. GyoTaeJeon is the quarters of the queen. The queen couldn't go outside the palace. This is why the king made a bueatiful garden called Ahmisan for the queen.

Right next to GyoTaeJeon is GyeongHoeRu.  GyeongHoeRu is a large pavillion that is supported by 48 stone pillars. It is also one of the National Treasures. I liked  GyeongHoeRu best because the outer pillars were square and the inner pillars were round. I thought it was funny that it came from the Ying and Yang theory. I also thought how fun it will be to have a party at  GyeongHoeRu. I really enjoyed looking around Gyeongbok Palace. Thank you.
