Today in Mariestory I went to Gyeongbok Palace.

Among the five palaces of the Joseon Dynasty ( Gyeongbok, gyeonghee, Deoksu,

Changgyeong, Changdeok), Gyeongbok is the largest and the first palace.

The gate of Gwanghwamun is the main gate of the palace.

It was rebuilt two times and remodeled one time.
First was Imjin War. It was rebuilt by Heungseon Daewongun.

Secon was during the Korean War, and President Park rebuilt it.

The time when it was remodeled wasduring the Japanese invasion.

Geun-Jeong-Jeon is the main building of the palace.

It looks like a two story building because it has a high ceiling,

but it is acrually one story building.

Lots of ceremonies happened in Geun-Jeong-Jeon.
