Today, I went to Gyeong Bok Palace.
Gyeong Bok Palace was the main and first one of the five palaces in Seoul.
Gyeong Bok means great fortune, so Gyeong Bok Palace means 'Palace with great fortune'.
In the palace, the main building was Geun Jeong Jeon. It has two roofs that make it look like a two-story building, but it is actually a one-story building. It has two roofs because the first story is very large.
In the road to the entrance of Geun Jeong Jeon, the road is divided into three parts. The left side is for civil officers, the right side is for military officers, and the middle one is for the king.
There are also ranking stones, which are used for the ranks of the officers.
