Hello, my name is 연지은 and my English name is Isabella.
I went to 성균관 today.
First, I want to explain the history of school.
In 고구려, it was Tae-hak. In 고려, it was 국자감
But in 조선. it was 향교(성균관 was one of it)
Now days, it's university.
The schools were changed many times.
When 고려, 신라, and 고구려 was Budism, 조선 was confucian.
Confucian is, "King must rule with virtue.".
But, there is a bad thing to.
It said's "A man is the sky, and a woman is a ground".
But, both woman and man is important.
if there is not one, they can't marry, and can't have a child.
And, there would be no humans in the earth.
Also, I learned about passing the Gwa-geo.
There is 소과 and 대과.
In 소과, there is 진사 and 생원, 진사 is little bit higher.
If you want to 대과, you need 300 points.
Durring king 영조's period, 영조 changed in to 30p.
But, 정조 changed to 50p.
