I will now tell you about what I saw at the National Museum of Korea. We learned about the Korean peminsula. It is a thousand kilometers long and 216 kilometers wide. It is much bigger than I thought!

I also learned about the prehistoric times. First, there was the Ice Age, where most of the things were frozen and people lived in caves. Next there is the Stone Age, where people began to use stones as tools. They made small axes, spears, etc. with the stones. This is also when the people started to make pottery. The pottery had a sharp- ended bottom. It was made this way because peple wanted to store food without it rotting, so they dug into the sand and put the pots in there. The next reason is that they kind of lacked skill to make the bottom hard. There was the New Stone Age, adn then the Bronze Age.

Next I will tell you about the stone tombs. These Goindoll was made only for leaders of the tribes since they were so big. They were made to represent the leader's power since ot takes hundreds of people to move those big stones.

Finally, I will tell you what I remeber the best. I remember the strange types of jewelry that were there. They were very pretty since they were made out of gold, but they were so long that you earlobes would rip. That is why I thought that they were put on long hats.Still, there were very pretty jade necklaces, beautiful gold bracelets, and shiny gold rings. Most importantly, there was the shimmering gold crown that would always remind me of the National Museum of Korea!
