Namsan Hanok Village
Today, I went to Namsan Hanok Village. Old houses like tile, thatch roof, palace and temple are at Namsan Hanok Village. It is located by downtown Seoul. The hanok shows houses o different classes during Joseon Dyasty. Hanok is build with the nature materials. The floor, doors, and columns were made of wood, the walls were made of a mixture of soil and straw. Nails were not used because it was easy to move and rebuild the Hanok. I like ondol. Hanok is the first floor because down the floor there is ondol so it can be hot. On summer we can stay on the 대청마루 to stay cooler. |
