Today, I wnet to Kim-gu museum. The museum is all about the King-gu. There is a lot of information about Joseon and Kim-gu. Heung-seon Dae-won gun is the father of king Go-jong. He took power and make Joseon a closed nation. In 1875, Japan came to Ganghwa Island, invaded the town, and killed the inhabiants there. Yhey forced the Ganghwa Treaty. There were four not deals. First, the Japanese have free access to Joseon's sea. Second, Japanese who make crimes in Joseon do not subject to any trials. Third, Japnese can freely use Japan money in Joseon. Last, Japanese products are exempt from any kind of taxation in Joseon. I think this is really not fair. Japan made Joseon a colony so Kim-gu resisted to Japan during Donghak Farmers Movement. He made a provisional government in Sang-hai and resisted. Finally, King-gu and Joseon gained it's independence from Japan.
