Today I went to Namsan Hanok village.
There is so many Hanok because it is a Hanok village.
The Hanok is a traditional korean house.
The Hanok use materials from the nature like floors , doors and columns( it made of wood).
Also it can be easy to rebuild and it is also have very good effectiveness.
Hanok house can be divided according to power of the master’s.
In the topmost there is king.
He lived in a palace.
Let’s look the palace’s character.
The palace has a 단청. It is only in palace and temple because (In palace there is king who ruled country and in temple there is also important too because there is a Buddha) so there is a 단청 in temple and palace. Next high power master’s house is an tile-roofed house. The roof tile is very difficult to save the tile. So only nobleman can live in a tiled roof house. The lower class (common people) live in thatched house. Why do they live in a thatched house? Because the straw is easy to find and easy to save. So the common people lived in thatched house. Now let’s learn about the Haok’s structure. In Hanok there is 사랑채 안채 행랑채. The 사랑채is for men so there is desk and some books. 안채 is a living room also women’s room so it is very big. And 행랑채 is a living place for servant or a paper. Today l looked at various aspects of Honok. I like this Namsan Hanok because we can learn and saw the ancestor’s wisdom and flavor. I was great!
