Have you ever been to the Seoul Museum of History? Today, I went to the Seoul Museum of History, and I will tell you about what I learned there. This museum explains about the history of Korea. More specifically the history of Josan afar. At1392 king Taejo found Josan He changed the original capital that was Gae-Gyeong to Hanyang. It was because of 2 reasons. First it is because of the beautiful nature and the harmony with it. Secondly and lastly it was because of the central location. I think that all the kings that ruled Josan thought these two features were good and kept the capital as Hanyang. You should know that Josan lasted for almost 500 years!!! It was a good capital. In this good capital Hanyang, there will be some rules about clothing. The commoners wore white clothing made by silk and hemp. The main reason why commoners wore white cloth is because the dye was too expensive. ON the other hand the novels wore very colorful clothes made with silk and it as dyed. I will tell you more about the clothing. Now zooming in to the clothes of officers. Before they become officers they take an exam called the civil officer examination. As you knoow there is two kind of officer the millitary and the civil officers. After hey pass the exam and go into a class, they get to wear special clothes. They were of course made of silk and it had a hung bae on it. First the millitary officers had a tiger for the hung bae and the civil officers had a crain. Depending on the animal and number it showed different things. The crain on the civil officer's hung bae meant integrity. Also the tiger meant bravery. Now the class. For both the tiger and crain the number represents the class. 2animal is higher than 1 animal. As you can see there is many things that I have learned.
