Today, I went to 'National folk museum' with my Marie story friends. It was cold outside, but inside of museum is warm enough for us.

In 'National folk museum, we learn about the time line, Korean's ceremony during the life time, and the things that people do in each season. And I'll talk about people's different activities by different seasons.

During the Joseon dynasty, people did different things in each season. In spring, people, especially farmers, started to prpare for planting. They make the ground smooth, and planting seeds. In summer, people help plants to grow And people's cloth changes. In summer, noble people wore silk cloth, and common people wore white cloth made by hemp. In autumn, people harvest their crops, and celebrate with their crops. Finally in winter, people make kimchi. This is because there are less food for people to eat in winter. This is the recipe to make kimchi. First, put cabbage into salt water, and washed it in cold water. Next, put spicy sauce in the cabbage and wrapped with outer leaf. And this recipe is same until now.

Nowadays, there are some difference between republic of Korea, and Joseon dynasty. Even though technique is developed, I think, there are still many things to learn from our ancestors.

So, 'National Folk museum' helps me to learn about our ancestors, and their life style.
