Hello, My name is Kim Seo-yeon. Today we went to National Folk Museum of Korea and saw many things. We saw clothes of a king, a pot, things that are related with king, having Coming of Age, marriage, having a straw rope, doljabi, etc. And I heard and learn many things that I did not see on museum.

I liked a story about Gyeongju, and Hunminjeongeum. Gyeongju is called City of a Thousand years history, too. It is the capital of Shilla kingdom, who unified Goguryu and Baekjae. I like some temples that are in Gyeongju. For example, there are Bulguksa, Seokga temple, Dabo temple, Chumsungdae, Anapji, Suckgulam, Daereungone, etc. In the 8th century, it was onme of the five biggest cities inm the world. This is called 'museum without walls' because of the wealth of historical buildings and treasures.

Secondly, I will talk about Hunminjeoungeum. It is made of King Sejong, who is 4th king of the Joseon Dynasty. Before he made Hngul with princes, and princesses, he knew Chinese characters were so difficult to common people. So he made Hangul. When he finished making Hangul, commonm people loved it, but noble people did not liked it, because they learned and memorized Chinese characters, in long years. Hangul is same when they say that, and when they write that. Hangul was registered in Unesco's memory of the world in October, 1997. Hunminjeongeum means proper sounds to instruct thje people and it was created inm 1443. Hangul consists of 10vowels and 14consonants.

It was fun to look at many things in National Folk Museum of Korea. I want to come here once more time.
