Dear Gae-Baek General of Bakjae,

Hello, I am a student from 2012. Today, I went to the War Memorial of Korea and saw you and I learned about the Hwang-San field fight. We also learned that you were a great general of Bakjae. I was moved from your patrism and te braveness of you. I saw a video of you killing your family and shouting 'Attack! Attack!Attack!' to the soldiers. Buy the way, I with that you were alive so you could unite the North and South Korea. I want to keep you as a role model in my life becuase you were very brave and you liked to challenge. But, I do not agree about killing your family even though you knew that you can't win the battle. If I was you , I would tell my family to run away to Goguryeo. It must have been a risk but, a chance to live. I was really sad about Bakjae's collaspe because Bakjae had many treasures and I think their culture had developed the most of all the three countries. Maybe Bakjae's collapse was King Eui-Ja's fault. I strongly agree that King Eui-Jae was cruel and a King who likes to drink and play. These days, you might be surprised but the earth is amazingly convient and good to live in. I think this development was because of many great people like you. Every time I think about you I am proud that I am a Korean. I also feel very sorry for your death. I wish you went to paradise.

I had a lot of fun today and I can't wait to explain all about you to the foreigners. In Mari Story, after learning history for years, we get to explain Korea's culture and history to them. I really wish I could come again.

From Jenny the student
