Today I went to the Changdeokgung Palce. First thing I saw when I arrived there was Donhuamun. It is the oldest remaining gatde among the five palces in Seoul. It is the two story pavilion. On the second floor there is a bell and drum which rang 33 times at 4am and 28 times at 10pm. This helped people know what time it was.
After I passed through the gate there was 인정전. This was the place were king received foreign visitors and events were held. I think that is why it is so big that when you see it from the outsideyou think it is a teo wtory building. It is also very modernized. We can know that because there were lamps inside the building.
Next there was 선정전. This is where the king did most of his daily work. This is only the building with the blue tiled roof. This is more expensive then te other tile because ir is hard to get that king of colour. I agree because the colour was very beautiful.
There was other buildings as well. I loved all of them but I like 선정전 and 인정전 the best. I think Changdeokgung is ver beautiful and big which made me very tired. |
