The Changgyeong palace was built by the king Seongjong and it has many sad stories.
One of the sad story was about the crown prince Sado, father of King Jeongjo.
He was put to death in a rice chest because of party strife. The second one is about Lady Jang, mother of King GyeongJong.
She cursed Inhyeon queen,so she killed by poison.
Changgyeong palace's structure is seprated with outer palace, inner palace, and resting place.
Myeongjeongjeon, Munjeongjeon and Sungmundang are the outer palace. There used to official work and events.
Inner palace was used for the daily life of the royal family. Gyeongchunjeon, Hwangyeongjeon, Yanghwadang, and Tongmyeongjeon are the Inner palace.
royal familt rest in the huwon,in the huwon, there are pond called chundangji. most of garden belong to changdeok palace, but this is still belong to Changgyeong palace.
I felt  Changgyeong palace was very splendid and beautiful and I wondered about why Joseon people made dancheongs color and meaning.  Today what I learned was new so I felt happy.
