I went to the Changgyeong palace which has many sad stories. First Lady Jang who was mother of King Gyeong Jong was killed here. And Jeong Jo's father Crown prince Sado was killed here, too. Even Japan changed this palace into a zoo. Of course it was restored in 1984, we got to have unforgetable pain.

Even though it has sad stories, I think we have to remind and protect this palace. Some say that remembering  sad history is useless.

Once great philisipher said that "history is a mirror of  future".

This palace is symbol of sad history but mirror of future.

I think that is why we have to remember history.
