Last Saturday, I went to the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan.

In there, I learned about Im-jin war which was against Japan and Salsu war which was against Sui China.

Japan attacked Joseon in 1592, and that's the Im-jin war.

In the Im-jin war, general Lee-Sunshin fought with a turtleship and bow and arrow.

Although Japanese used muskets, Joseon won because of the magnificent general Lee-sunshin.

The sad thing is that general Lee-Sunshin died during the Noryang war.

The Salsu war was between Goguryeo and Sui China.

The Sui emperor sent one million soldiers to Goguryeo but Goguryeo defeated them.

So he became angry and sent 300,000 soldiers to Goguryeo.

General Woo-Jungmun was head of them.

General Ulji-Munduck was head of Goguryeo.

He was a very clever man.

So, he made Sui-China's soldiers very tired and hungry.

Then, he led them to the Salsu river.

When the Sui-China soldiers were all there, general Ulji-Munduck and Goguryeo's soldiers broke the dam.

Suii-China's soldiers were all flooded by the river and Goguryeo won.

Only 2700 soldiers of Sui-China were survived in the Salsu war.
