Today, I went to Changgyeonggung palace. King Seongjeong built Changgyeonggung palace for his grandmother. I will tell you about Okcheongyo and Tongmyeongjeon and Dancheong.

I saw Okcheongyo and Tongmyeongjeon and Dancheong. I saw a monster carvings and I learned that monster carvings were believed to protect the palace from evil sprits. I learned that bridge was connected the kings place and the common land. I also learned that Tongmyeongjeon was a place where queen lived. I learned that lady Jang lived in Tongmyeongjeon. I learned that Dancheong is the colorful decoration that used on buildings. I learned that in Dancheong, it had five elements and I learned those five elements are red, black, green and blue, white and yellow. I also learned that red represents fire, black represents water, green&blue represents tree or wood, and white represents metal and yellow represents earth. And I learned those colors make up the universe.

I felt happy to walk across the Okcheongyo. I was very happy to go inside where lady Jand lived because I wanted to know something about lady Jang. I was also surprised, that all the colors in Dancheong represents something and it make up the universe.
