Today, I went to War Memorial of Korea. First, I will tell you about Goguryeo. Goguryeo was the most powerful nation in Asia. The war of Salsu was a Great Victory. Sui China attacted Goguryeo with one million soldiers but Goguryeo defeated them. Goguryeo's most great general Euljimundeok planned a brilliant strategy. He didin't fight hard with the Sui soldiers on purpose. So Sui china decided to retreat. Next, I will tell you about Hwa rang. The Hwa rang were an elite group of young men in Silla Kingdom. They had 5rules. First, loyalty to the country 2nd Filial piety 3rd trust among friends 4th Never retreat in battle 5th Don't kill anything without reason.

Next, I will tell you about Admiral Yi Sunshin. He was a war hero because he won many naval victories against the Japan navy. He predicted the war and prepared the military. He also made the first ironclad ship in the world. It was called the turtle ship Geo-buk-seon. It was very powerful. The final battle took place at the Noryangjin. Yi Sunshin also won this battle but he got shot. Then he said, "Keep waving the flag and don't tell anyone of my death.

I was impressed of my ancestor's holliness and wise. If they weren't  Korean, our country would be other's.
