Unhyungung Palace was nat a palace. It was personal house for Heungseon Daewongun. He is a father of king Gojong. It was talked palace. Since it became important. Gojong was 26th King of Joseon Dynasty, and he was last king of Joseon. In Unhyungung Palace, they had two Anchae and one sarangchae. Anchae is place where girls lived and Sarangchae is place where boy lived. First Anchae's name is Norakdang. In there, Enpress Neongseon recieved lessons here to become a queen. There was wedding Serenong in there too.

 Second Anchae is Irodang. After nanng. the enperor and enpress can't use Norakdang. So, enpress lived in there. Name of Sarangchae is Noandang. Heungseon Daewongun stayed here to met guests and discuss about politican issues here, and here is a place where Heungsun Daewongun died here.
