On September 29th, we went to Unhyungung Palace. It was not a real palace, but a place where Heung Seun Dae Wang Gun grew up when he was young. He had a son called Gojong,and had Myung Sung Wang Hu as a wife. Myung Sung Wang Hu tried to br friendly with Russia, but Japanese didn't like it and murdered her. They burned her body after murdering her.
There is one Anchae and two Sarangchae in UnhyunGung.Anchae is man's living area and Sarangchae is woman's living area. The anchae is called Noandang and first is called Anchae norakdang. MyunSungWang Hu grew up,was teached lessons to be a queen and married the king. After the Marriage, they couldn't use norakdang so they built Irodang,the second Anchae.
there is two gate in the house.One is lofty gate. It was higher than the roof to represent pride of the noble man.The other was lower gate. It was low to represent modest. It was so low that you had to lower your head.   ☏ |
